Title: How can I "bombproof" my moderated list?

Question: How can I "bombproof" my moderated list to make sure no
virus-generated email gets through from spoofed moderator addresses?

Answer: 100% Web-based approval of posts

If your list is a low-volume, one-way or moderated list that has
had a problem with viruses or spam getting through to the list
due to the moderator's address appearing as a forged sender address,
there is a way to configure the list so that all posts, including
those from a moderator's address, are held for approval via the Web.

    Under Privacy Options, Recipient Filters

Ceiling on acceptable number of recipients for a posting. (max_num_recipients)

If a posting has this number, or more, of recipients, it is held for admin approval.

      Use 0 for no ceiling.

To hold all posts, including the moderator's, for Web-based approval,

      set this to 1
