Title: How do I change the name of my Mailman list?

Question: I am the owner of a Mailman list at Prairienet.  Can I change the
name of my list?  If so, how?

Answer:

Mailman list names can't be changed.  A new list has to be created and the
old one deleted.  You'll have to take care of details like transferring
the subscribers file and informing anyone who used the old name of the
list.

To create a new list, fill out the Mailman list request form at

Your new list will be created within three business days. When the new list
is up and running, request that your old list by sending email to

        mailman@prairienet.org
